Our Story
Ide Shotenopened in Wakayama in 1953 — a small ramen counter started by Norio Ide’s mother. Decades later, Koji Takeda traveled to Wakayama to train under Norio Ide and learn the recipes by hand.
In 2002, Koji opened Gomen Ramen in Stanton, California, and ran the kitchen for over twenty years. In July 2022, he passed every recipe and technique on to the current owner.
